The Moto 360 arrived on Sep. 05, 2014, as the first of many Android Wear smartwatches that followed soon after.
Wear OS watches come in multiple shapes and sizes now, but the one that laid the groundwork for Wear OS and took off in a big way was released almost a decade ago. I am talking about the original Moto 360 smartwatch that arrived nine years ago on September 5th, 2014. It was a pioneer in the smartwatch market and set the standard for many of the devices that followed. The Moto 360 was not without its flaws, but it truly set the pace for the development of Android Wear watches and became one of the best-selling smartwatches of all time.
Latest Moto 360 now receiving major Wear OS H-MR2 update
The third-gen Motorola Moto 360 smartwatch is now receiving a major update that brings Google's latest Wear OS H-MR2 software version.
Motorola gave up on designing smartwatches years ago, but the Moto 360 product line lives on. eBuyNow released a new Moto 360-branded watch in January of 2020, which used Google's Wear OS operating system with few changes. There's now some good news for anyone with a newer Moto 360 watch — it's finally getting the latest Wear OS update.

The original Moto 360 smartwatch was launched way back in 2014 and it was one of the very first devices with Android Wear. Of the few options at the time, the Moto 360 was widely considered the most attractive (despite the "flat tire" display).
