The Samsung Galaxy A6+ was released last year, featuring decent specifications. However, the phone did not really gather much momentum in the market, mainly because Samsung ended up pricing the device in a way that eroded its value-for-money factor and lay waste to its potential.

Despite the fact that the phone did not create many ripples in the market, Samsung is seemingly justifying the price tag by rolling out a new update to the phone that brings in OneUI along with Android Pie and March 2019's security patch. This update is versioned A605FNXXU3BSC3 and is expected to roll out gradually to more markets. The version number may slightly change depending on the region of the device.
